Unable
to load module error
If you get an error "Unable to load module"
then you probably do not have enough conventional memory available. Version 6.2a required
520K available before running the Windowing System Manager. Version 6.2b has reduced this
requirement to 490K.
Low conventional memory can be exacerbated by
running the Windowing System Manager from Microsoft Windows 3.1. A DOS program running
from Microsoft Windows 3.1 can have up to 50K less conventional memory than the same DOS
program run from outside of Windows.
Network drivers, virus protection, CDROM drivers
and other TSR's can reduce available conventional memory.
Windows 95 users may have more conventional
memory available depending on the number and type of real-mode drivers and other support
software loaded in CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT
If you have a problem with low conventional
memory, contact your installer or Zinck Computer Group technical support.
Postal
code printing twice
The postal code can print twice on a
specification form (invoice, statement, cards, etc) if you use the %C9 code to print the
postal code. In 6.2a and 6.2b the system performs blank line removal on the member
address. This means that the postal code can shift up from the postal code line to an
address line, depending on the number of blank address lines that exist.
To fix the problem, use %C32 instead of %C9.
%C32 is a conditional postal code and will only print a postal code if there are no blank
lines in the address.
%C9 is useful for those occasions where you want
to always print the postal code.
Speeding
up reports
You can speed up reports that have the sort by
selection box by deleting all the selection lines in the sort by box.
