Mr. Buenzow is a Senior Managing Director and Head of C-Suite & Board Advisory at ZCGC, where he partners with institutions and company management teams to drive performance, value creation, and solutions. He collaborates with C-suite executives and boards to strengthen senior leadership capabilities, enhance operational and financial strategies, and advance long-term growth initiatives. Mr. Buenzow provides strategic support and partnership with management company c-suites across multiple industries.
With more than two decades of experience, Mr. Buenzow is a recognized expert in operational turnarounds, interim leadership, business transformation, and financial restructuring. He has served as CEO or Chief Restructuring Officer for numerous companies, where he consistently found opportunities for improvement, executed transformation strategies, and accelerated profitability.
Prior to joining ZCGC, Mr. Buenzow was Senior Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Restructuring at FTI Consulting Inc. For over twenty years he led large-scale transformations, restructurings, and rapid-growth initiatives across a diverse range of industries.
Mr. Buenzow holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Niagara University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
