Ms. Patel is the Senior Corporate Counsel at ZCG and a member of the ZCG Investment Team, where she is responsible for supporting firmwide legal and compliance matters, including partnering with ZCG Investment Teams and portfolio company leadership on a range of transactional, regulatory, and strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining ZCG, Ms. Patel was Counsel at Saiber LLC, where she advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, financings, and corporate governance matters across a broad range of industries, including financial services, technology, and retail.

Previously, Ms. Patel served as Corporate Counsel at The Chernin Group, where she provided strategic counsel on complex transactions, governance, and commercial matters for the firm and its portfolio companies.

Ms. Patel began her legal career at Lowenstein Sandler LLP(“Lowenstein”), where she advised private equity, venture capital and portfolio companies on mergers and acquisitions, financings, fund formation, and general corporate matters.

Ms. Patel also served as a Professor’s Assistant at Columbia Business School, where she worked with the Chair of Lowenstein Sandler’s Tech Group to develop and teach a course exploring the dynamics between entrepreneurs, management teams, investors, and limited partners in the venture capital landscape for MBA students.

Ms. Patel holds a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Finance with honors from Rutgers University.  She is admitted to New York and New Jersey state bars.
