Ms. Semaan is the Managing Director, Chief of Staff – Middle East & Asia Pacific at ZCG, where she is responsible for overseeing human capital, building and managing business operations while driving key strategic initiatives across the region. In this role, she works closely with senior leadership to align global strategy with regional execution, ensuring operational excellence and growth.

Prior to joining ZCG, Ms. Semaan served as Managing Director, Head of Human Resources (“HR”) for Gulf and Asia, and Global Head of Culture and Development at Investcorp. During her tenure, she oversaw HR and operational functions across all GCC offices as well as Singapore, China, Japan, and India. She also spearheaded the firm’s global culture and DEI agenda, designing and implementing firm-wide programs that advanced employee engagement, leadership development, and inclusivity across multiple geographies.

Earlier, Ms. Semaan held senior leadership roles within APM Terminals, part of the Maersk Group. As General Manager - HR of APM Terminals Bahrain, she played a central role in shaping corporate policy, advising senior leadership, and strengthening organizational capability. She was also a member of the leadership team that prepared and successfully executed the company’s Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Bahrain Bourse.

Prior to her tenure at APM Terminals, Ms. Semaan was the Country Head of HR at DSV Logistics for Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, where she was responsible for embedding global HR initiatives across the region and ensuring alignment with local market dynamics.

She began her career in HR at Arcadis in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, gaining a strong foundation in human capital management within a multinational consulting and design environment.

Ms. Semaan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Human Capital Management from Columbia University.
