Douglas Staudmeister

Mr. Staudmeister is a Managing Director and Head of Transformation & Integration at ZCGC, where he partners with investment teams and portfolio company management to accelerate EBITDA growth, capture synergies, and drive value creation. He works closely with CEOs and executive leadership teams to lead post-acquisition integration, enterprise-wide transformation, and operational excellence initiatives that enhance shareholder value. Mr. Staudmeister provides hands-on operating leadership and strategic advisory support to portfolio companies across multiple industries.

With more than two decades of experience, Mr. Staudmeister is a recognized expert in operational turnarounds, interim leadership, lean transformation, and value creation. He has served as President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief of Staff for private equity-backed portfolio companies, where he consistently stabilized operations, executed lean and process-improvement initiatives, and accelerated profitability.

Prior to joining ZCGC, Mr. Staudmeister was a Director, Performance Improvement at AlixPartners, LLP, where he led value creation, EBITDA growth, and cost reduction programs on behalf of private equity sponsors across industrials, consumer, renewable energy, and technology industries. He previously held leadership roles with both Danaher and Dover Corporations after starting his career as a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group.

Mr. Staudmeister holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from The American University Washington College of Law, and an MBA in Finance, with Distinction, from London Business School.
