Pierre Garnier
Mr. Garnier is a Managing Director with the Capital Formation Team at ZCG where he is responsible for capital solutions, and managing institutional & private wealth relationships across ZCG platforms throughout the MENA region. Mr. Garnier is based at ZCG Arabia’s office in Riyadh, KSA.
Mr. Garnier brings over 15 years of investment and fundraising experience across private equity and private credit, in principal and advisory seats, with a particular focus on and a deep understanding of structured liquidity and secondary solutions, as well as primary fundraising channels.
Prior to joining ZCG, Mr. Garnier was a Deputy Head of Investor Relations – Fundraising with Middle East and Asia placement firm Greenstone, where he was responsible for capital raising activities and developing investor relationships across institutional and private wealth channels.
Prior to Greenstone, Mr. Garnier was an Investment Director at 17Capital, where he sourced and executed landmark preferred equity and NAV loan transactions, and designed, developed, and led the firm’s regional GCC investor coverage efforts - establishing strategic relationships with institutional investors and family offices and raising capital across the firm’s equity and credit strategies.
Mr. Garnier was previously a Vice President at Lazard in the Investment Banking division, advising and supporting clients on GP-led and LP-led secondary transactions and fundraising campaigns across EMEA.
Mr. Garnier holds a Master in Finance from ESSEC Business School, a Master in Engineering from EPF Graduate School of Engineering (Paris, FR), and a Certificate in International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science (London, UK).
