William Bailey

Mr. Bailey is a Principal, Strategic Finance, at ZCGC which partners with companies and institutions in financial reporting, due diligence and other M&A support, data analytics, and assisting with strategic finance transformation initiatives across multiple industries.

Prior to joining ZCGC, Mr. Bailey was a Senior Director at EY-Parthenon (“EY”) where he led enterprise transformation, operational turnaround, and cost optimization programs. Mr. Bailey served as the direct point of contact to C-suite leaders on large-scale engagements, driving organizational redesign, functional process simplification, and spend controls.  He also led operational diligence and cave-out execution across buy-side and sell-side deals.

Mr. Bailey began his career at Ernst & Young where progressed through roles of increasing responsibility from Staff Accountant to Senior Manager. There he led financial due diligence and M&A advisory for private equity sponsors, including complex transaction structures, carve-outs, and asset purchases out of bankruptcy.  

Mr. Bailey earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and his Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of St. Thomas.
