Mr. Russell serves on the Board of Directors of Eppinger Technologies and Venu+, both ZCG portfolio companies, and collaborates with the ZCG Private Equity Investment Team.

Mr. Russell was a Managing Director and Head of C-Suite Advisory at ZCGC where he was responsible for developing and enhancing the performance of senior leadership teams and organizations across ZCG portfolio companies.

Prior to joining ZCGC, Mr. Russell served as the CEO of PureRed, where he led the digital transformation and rapid growth of this Private Equity owned marketing service and technology provider.

For more than twenty-five years, Mr. Russell has served in the capacity of CEO or Operating Partner across several Private Equity firms including GSO/Blackstone, Catterton Partners, Oak Hill Capital Partners, Summit Partners, Charlesbank Capital Partners, AEA Investors, Cerberus Capital Management, and Bain Capital where he successfully identified and implemented improvements to accelerate portfolio company growth and profitability.

Mr. Russell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Western New England College and an MBA in Marketing from St. John’s University.
