Mr. Schlanger is a Managing Director, Strategic Finance at ZCG Consulting (“ZCGC”) where he is responsible for advising portfolio companies on financial strategy including financial reporting, due diligence, M&A support, and initiating strategic finance transformation. Mr. Schlanger brings a wide range of experience in identifying and implementing value-enhancing initiatives across diverse industries. He has an extensive background in financial planning and analysis (“FP&A”), working capital management, supply chain logistics and transaction due diligence.

Prior to joining ZCGC, Mr. Schlanger served as the Chief Financial Officer to Handsome Brook Farms, where he managed liquidity and daily finance operations while also spearheading multiple performance improvement initiatives during a period of significant growth and expansion.

Previously, Mr. Schlanger held multiple senior finance roles, including serving as the Senior Director of Finance at XpresSpa, where he successfully led the finance department through the Company’s acquisition by FORM Holdings, and was also the Vice President of Finance and Planning at MZ Berger & Co.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Schlanger spent several years as a restructuring and turnaround consultant. As a Vice President at CDG Group, Mr. Schlanger worked with distressed companies to design and implement financial and operational resolutions pertinent to specific client engagements. In addition, he represented creditor interests in distressed situations, performing investment due diligence and advising clients on liquidity and collateral preservation, debt capacity, and working capital needs. Prior to CDG Group, Mr. Schlanger was an Associate at Alvarez & Marsal.

Mr. Schlanger holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and received a Masters in Accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Gies College of Business. Mr. Schlanger obtained his CPA in 2022 and is currently licensed in the State of New York.
