Mr. Goodwin is a Managing Director, Strategic Technology at ZCG Consulting (“ZCGC”) where he is responsible for the strategy and oversight of portfolio company technology initiatives.

Prior to joining ZCGC, Mr. Goodwin served as the CIO at Proterra, where he successfully led the transformation of the IT program through the implementation of agile methodologies, optimizing resources, and accelerating cybersecurity initiatives.

Before his tenure at Proterra, Mr. Goodwin held the position of Senior Technology Consultant. In this role, he served as the CTO/Product Leader with To & From and as the Cybersecurity Director for Nayya Health. In these capacities, he demonstrated strong leadership in engineering and product design, as well as spearheading the development of cybersecurity programs.

Prior to transitioning into consultancy, Mr. Goodwin served as the CIO at Icahn Enterprises (“Icahn”), where he led technology and information security operations across the firm and its portfolio companies.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Goodwin worked as the Director in the Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering group at Royal Bank of Canada. During his time there, he led strategy, design, and implementation of data center infrastructure and cloud services. He began his professional career at The Blackstone Group and Cisco Systems.

Mr. Goodwin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from the University of Miami.
